Definition: Aggregate is a collection of items that are gathered together to form a total quantity.

The fleeting moments of knowledge in which we discover our existence are facts that can be committed to memory. We can enlarge this aggregate memory and refashion it as we go through a lifetime. By saving these memories on paper and reconstructing the images of our lives. We see the art of our lives unfolding before us.

Hello Spring Wreath Tutorial

Hello Spring Wreath step by step instructions by Sarinda Jones

Can you believe this wreath is made from Coffee Filters.....

You could use these other lovely items. Brown paper lunch bags and old clothing patterns! (Wish I would have thought of that sooner) Just Play and Create.
What you need-
  • 1-2 boxes of Brown #4 Coffee Filters (I used 1.25 boxes)
  • Scallop circle punch (mine's 2.25 inches ek brand)
  • Foam wreath (mine’s 2”x15 3/4”x2”)
  • Unsharpened pencil or pen for the blunt edge
  • Glue Gun
  • Colored paper for Flowers. (We R Memory Keepers Cotton Tail Line)
  • (I used my Silhouette Cameo for all the flowers)
  • Bling for center of flowers.

When you punch your circles I was able to punch 3 per filter and stacked 2 at a time. This gave me 12 circles.

When you have a stack take your unsharpened pencil or pen and press it into the center of a circle so the circle folds up like a flower.

Put a dab of hot glue on the circle where the pencil makes a point and stick to your wreath form. Continue until your wreath looks like this. Keep in mind that I placed my folded flower filters really close together... You might consider placing about 1/2” apart then I know you will only need one box of filters.
Then use you flower punches or Silhouette to cut out your stackable flowers. I made a bunch and then just played with the colors and sizes. Really- Just Play-! Apply hot glue to the underside of the flower, press onto wreath in what ever random way you choose. Then Bling it up-! Start out by laying a few in your pattern, you can go back and fill in as you go. Add any other embellishments you desire. Enjoy and have fun for SPRING IS HERE-!

I will be posting Creative Chemistry 101 Techniques a bit later in the day. So please check back with me.
Thanks for stopping in.
